Introduction

The 25-Year Guarantee is proudly offered by Back2Clear, providing customers with the assurance they deserve when investing in our high-quality services.

The Guarantor

This guarantee is not insurance-backed and is self-funded by Back2Clear. Registered at Kimbell Road, Basingstoke, RG22 4AT, we offer this guarantee for glass double glazing units installed within the United Kingdom.

Coverage and Duration

Subject to the conditions mentioned below, the guarantee covers the replacement (including installation) of any defective glass double glazing unit installed by Back2Clear. The defect must be reported in writing within 25 years from the date of installation.

Limitations

This guarantee only covers the glass in the double glazing unit and does not extend to any hardware like handles, locks, or fixings. It also does not cover:

Natural disasters
Theft
Vandalism or criminal activity
Thermal stress
Accidental damage
Fair wear and tear
Misuse or improper maintenance
Minor cosmetic issues like fading of colour
Glass cracks appearing more than 4 weeks after fitting
Installation

All installation works under this guarantee will be conducted by personnel designated by Back2Clear. To claim the guarantee, the customer must allow reasonable access for the work to be carried out.

Replacement Units

While we make every effort to match the replacement unit as closely as possible, an exact match may not be guaranteed, especially if the original unit is no longer produced.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

Glass used in the units may have minor imperfections. Any such imperfections that fall within the glass manufacturer’s warranty will not warrant a replacement under this guarantee.

Non-Transferability

This guarantee is personal and may not be transferred to any other individual.

Statutory Rights

This guarantee is personal and may not be transferred to any other individual.

Claim Process
